What is the difference between Botox, Dysport, Xeomin and the other neurotoxins?
Botox kicks in in about 7-10 days and lasts 4 months or so wearing off slowly. Dysport kicks in more quickly, about 3-5 days and wears off in 4 months but it happens more quickly than with Botox. Xeomin is similar to Botox in how it kicks in and lasts. However, it’s a smaller molecule and less found by the body as foreign. Thus, at times this molecule is good for those resistant to Botox or autoimmune.
